Okay, where to start
Last Sunday we celebrated our daughter 2nd birthday and I’m so happy it was a success. Actually it was better than ZK’s Sweet Butterfly 1st birthday party. She was still so young then but this time around she danced and played with her friends.
And for this party I put more hand made work into it and even though it was a lot of work, I’m happy to see the result. Inspired by the great Amy Atlas and Kara Allen, I tried to make a real dessert table
Our theme was a Frog and Flowers with the colours for the party being a girly girl Pink and Green. I’ve been thinking about this theme since 6 months ago, such an early bird Mama and started to craft everything in 3 weeks.
Started with this welcome board
With a tight budget, I really had to keep an eye out for as many money-savers as possible. The cupcake toppers, invitation, name tag, place mat, banners were designed & printed by myself.
Macaroons from the Ranch Market at Grand Indonesia, Meringue bought at Setiabudi supermarket in Bandung for only 8000 IDR!
A pink candy given by lovely friend Junita of Kinderplays and beans covered with sugar purchased during a business trip to Makassar, Sulawesi (yes i searched that far and wide :D)
Flowery cupcakes from Sugar High Dessert. Delishh!!
Cookies by Kinderplays
Pudding made by myself and chocolate bar ordered from Coklatku chocoshop.
Green tea Milk with a pink stripe straws bought at Hey Yo Yo
The invitation designed by myself. Got the Frog icon somewhere at website *totaly forgot the site, sorry and a free download flower vector.
Oh and I wrapped the Frog lunch box goodie bags myself with a little help from the cute birthday girl. She passed the ribbons for me
Flowery ballerina skirt for the girls. Gak, gue gak bikin sendiri giling. Beli di toko Blessing Asemka. Tapi diprotes emak-emak yang anaknya cowok, katanya “yang cowok kok cuma dapet topi” huaah maapkeuun abis bingung mau apaan
Mommy and the birthday girl
Sad that the party is over but glad that the work is over!
